The master plan

This is what my cross country drive looks like:

The West Coast has been lovely but today I leave my friend Anna and her lovely family in LA to head eastward. Stops will include:

1. San Diego to visit an old high school friend, Ben, and his girlfriend, Loren

2. Tuscan to stay with the mother and step-dad of a good friend in NYC, Mark

3. Austin to stay with my friend college pal and travel-mate, Jessica, along with her little family

4. Martinsville, VA to see and stay with the parents of my beloved

5. Brooklyn, NY to get a big hug from my boyfriend

I am so ready for it.

Today I've finished up packing up and moving out.

Day's end:

Goal accomplished!

1. Move out of New York City by the end of June

With much help from Nathan Becker, everything was packed up, sold off, or left on the curb, the apartment was cleared and cleaned. After NINE YEARS in NYC, I am FREE and on the road to Rehoboth Beach, DE.

Philly and back again

Today is a travel day, running around stashing My Preciouses:

To my friends Hathaway and Pete in Philadelphia to store the distillation of my library. 

To friends Mark and Bill in Plainfield, NJ to deposit my snowboard until the winter.

A day of long distance errands could be annoying if not for a (in)capable copilot and someone to come home to. 

If I learned anything from today, It is that I will love and miss my friends in New York
